Have you ever wondered what it takes to be the best in the world, or wanted to know the answers to questions such as what makes someone successful or how do we achieve greatness? The focus of the ACE lab is on answering these types of questions. Research within our lab examines what successful individuals actually 'do' and 'think' during performance on real-world, representative or simulated tasks. Our aim is to uncover some of the underlying cognitive steps that are responsible for superior and expert-level performance and to identify the skill acquisition process that results in performance superiority.

If you are interested in collaboration or working in my lab, please click on the "Join the Lab" page. We have a number of research opportunities in our lab at undergraduate and postgraduate level just waiting to be filled by diligent individuals and inquiring minds.
