I am a Filipino-American: I became my parents' third child shortly after they migrated to the States. I grew up in California, Hawaii, and Colorado.
I currently live in Florida with my girlfriend. She is a doctoral student in neuroscience. While I study selves in human populations, she studies cells in neuronal populations. We have two cats who do not study much of anything.
My interests vary widely. If I lived forever, I would get a Ph.D. to match every section at Borders. I'll try anything once. I love to get out and exercise, but I also spend too much time on the internet.
Most of my money goes to food and travel. I have been to Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Costa Rica, England, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Mexico, The Netherlands, New Zealand, the Philippines, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, and Thailand, and I don't have a single souvenir to show for it. But I did eat a lot when I was there.
