Welcome to the Kelley Memory Lab (KML) website. KML investigates human memory and information processing using 'state-of-the-science' behavioral methods of cognitive psychology. Areas of current or keen interest include the mechanisms of retrieval inhibition in human memory, factors that create the subjective experience of memory, illusions of memory, meta-cognition, age-related differences in memory, eye-witness memory, judgment and decision making, memory retrieval processes, processing fluency, skilled memory, and global memory models. KML is directed by Dr. Colleen M. Kelley, Ph.D., and is part of the Department of Psychology at the Florida State University.
