Kristin Fitch |
|
Kristin graduated from Boston University with a B.A. in Psychology. Following graduation, she worked for two years as a research assistant on the Vietnam Era Twin Study of Aging at Boston University, which evaluated cognitive decline as individuals age. She worked for an additional two years as a research assistant at the Anxiety Disorders Center at the Institute of Living/Hartford Hospital. At that facility, she worked on a neuroimaging study evaluating differences between individuals with compulsive hoarding and those with non-hoarding obsessive compulsive disorder. She also worked on a study assessing psychiatric comorbidity among individuals with compulsive hoarding. Kristin is currently a doctoral candidate in the clinical psychology program at Florida State University. Her research interests include the etiology, maintenance, and treatment of anxiety disorders, particularly obsessive compulsive disorder and compulsive hoarding.

Shivali Sarawgi |
|
Kirsten graduated from McGill University with a B.S. in Psychology. Following graduation, she spent several years working as a clinical research coordinator at Duke University and at the University of Miami. She is currently a doctoral candidate in clinical psychology at Florida State University. Kirsten's primary research interests are the etiology, maintenance, and treatment of anxiety disorders as well as the relationship between anxiety and anger. |

Kirsten Hawkins |
|
Shivali graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in Psychology, Cognitive Studies, and Child Development. While at Vanderbilt, she worked as a research assistant and honors student in the Emotion and Anxiety Research Lab where she conducted research on attentional biases in contamination fearing individuals and another on inhibiting the return of conditioned disgust. Shivali is currently a graduate student in the clinical psychology program at Florida State University. Her primary research interests include the etiology, maintenance and treatment of anxiety disorders with specific interest in obsessive compulsive disorder and cognitive biases modification. |

Richard Macatee |
|
Richard graduated from The University of Maryland—College Park with a B.S. in Psychology. After graduating, he worked at the Center for Addictions, Personality, and Emotion Research (CAPER) for three years. Currently, he is a graduate student in the clinical psychology program at Florida State University. His primary research interests involve the relationship between distress tolerance and the etiology, maintenance, and treatment of anxiety disorders, particularly Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. |
