Tiffanie Holloway, a Neuroscience graduate student, for receiving the award for best oral presentation at the annual Southeastern Nerve Net meeting. Tiffanie's major professor is Dr. Frank Johnson.

Shayne Piasta, a Developmental Psychology graduate student, who received the 2008 Outstanding IES Predoctoral Fellow Award. Shayne was selected from among several hundred students funded by 10 PIRT (Predoctoral Interdisciplinary Research Training) grants in the country as the best PIRT student in the nation. Shayne's major professor is Dr. Rick Wagner.

Andy Menzel, a Social Psychology graduate student, for being awarded a prestigious National Science Foundation graduate fellowship. The fellowship will provide 3 years of funding to Andy to help facilitate his research. Andy's major professor is Dr. Jon Maner.
