Building address will be 1107 W. Call Street

NEWS : 4/23/08 - Phase II of the new building project is well under way and going up amazingly fast. We are on schedule and the building is now dried in which means a lot of the sheet rock walls are going up. This work is all but finished on the first and second floors with the first coats of paint on as well. Laboratory casework installation has started and almost finished in the shops. Completion of Phase II ,which include the B-wing for faculty offices and the C-wing which will house Clinical and Neuroscience research facilities, the Psychology Clinic and the Florida Center for Reading Research is expected in July of 2008 and we begin occupancy during July and August. Phase I of the building has now won both design and construction awards, the latter received last November. The first of our "heritage" castings is now in place (see pic), as a wheat stalk has been installed on the north face of the C-wing. We will also install castings of the owl, frogs and scroll work currently seen on the faces of Eppes Hall, our way of bringing a bit of our history to the new site. The engraved bricks for all of our Ph.D. graduates have been ordered and will be featured in the "Graduate Walk" in the courtyard.
