Dr. Berler teaches and has several administrative roles in the Psychology
Department. She supervises clinical
psychology graduate students in their role as therapists in the department's
Psychology Clinic. She also teaches the administration and interpretation
of the Wechsler scales of intelligence to clinical psychology students.
Dr. Berler serves as the Associate Chair, Director of Graduate Studies,
and Coordinator of Applied Placements, as well as the Co-director of the
master's program in psychology with a specialty in applied behavior analysis
offered at the Panama City campus. Highlights of her job responsibilities

Schedule courses each semester

Oversee assignments for departmental assistants (first year graduate
students who provide grading, proctoring, and other assistance to instructors
of large undergraduate lecture courses)

Oversee assignments for teaching assistants and observe them in the
classroom.

Coordinate matters relating to department-wide issues
pertinent to graduate education including curriculum, program requirements,
orientation of incoming students, and recruitment and admission of students

Coordinate applied, funded practicum positions for clinical psychology
students.

Oversee admissions, help establish policies, and schedule courses for
the master's program with a specialty in applied behavior analysis
