Current Research Interests

1) Research focused on increasing understanding of the influence of neighborhood context, socioeconomic status, and social status on cancer-related risk behaviors/conditions among minority and underserved populations.

2) Research focused on the development and evaluation of theoretically-based interventions to decrease cancer-related risk behaviors among low socioeconomic status and other underserved groups.


Research Funding

Dr. Reitzel is currently funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (K01DP001120) as a PI and the National Institutes of Health/National Cancer Institute as a Co-I (R21CA134961, P60MD000503, U54CA96300, R01HL094183).
